Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival 2016

Line to get in
I have wanted to go to Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival in Tyler for the last two years. My schedule and the timing never lined up. This year was the year. This is the festival's third year, and I was super excited. I came up a day early and dropped my wife in Dallas to see her friend. It gave me a chance to tour some of the best that East Texas BBQ has to offer. It was rainy in the morning before the event, but the clouds broke just in time. I took a ton of photos at the festival. Enjoy!

Good music, good barbecue. What could be a better combination? I had a blast. I was sad to leave the event early. I had to meet the wife in DFW. Next year, I will take her, and we are going to party it up into the night. Get your tickets for next year when they go on sale. If not, you will miss out. It is a world-class event. Everything was extremely organized and well-planned. Props to Chase Colston and crew and the City of Tyler for putting this on. Next week, I will be at the Houston BBQ Festival.
